Lachlan Mee

Lachlan leads the exploration of innovative technologies within Ocean Blocks as the CIO. His focus is on the innovations poised to make a difference in transitioning toward a green economy—technologies like new materials from recycling, solar and wind energy, hydrogen and other clean energy sources. Lachlan has an MBA and a blockchain degree from RMIT and has vast experience in logistics and the flows of supply chains. Utilising his background and exploratory nature, Lachlan has been travelling the world to uncover technologies that can radically shift the pace of transition to greener outcomes for corporations. Taking a leaf from the provocative stance of the Norwegians, Lachaln is advocating change from a technology and policy perspective.

The other areas of interest and exploration cover the scientific evolution of plants engineered to sequester higher amounts of carbon. Virtual mapping of ecosystems and the factful touchpoints of web3 infrastructure to prove that environments are being managed and are improving over time.
